NBA Abuja Branch Announces August General Meeting with Focus on Tax System Reforms

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch—popularly known as the Unity Bar—has officially announced its August 2025 General Meeting, scheduled to hold on Friday, 8th August 2025 at 4:00 PM (WAT).

The hybrid meeting will take place physically at the Auditorium, NBA House, Muhammadu Buhari Way, CBD, Abuja, and virtually via Zoom, enabling broad participation from members across the legal community.

The meeting will be hosted by Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN, and will feature a compelling knowledge-sharing session titled “Overview of the Nigerian Tax System Reform”.

The session will be delivered by Ben Pever, Head of the International Collaboration Division at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), promising deep insights into recent developments and the direction of Nigeria’s tax framework.
