The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) continues to record steady progress in its countdown to the 2025 Annual General Conference, as the collection of official conference bags and souvenirs has officially commenced at the NBA National Secretariat in Abuja.

Following the successful receipt and inspection of the first batch of conference materials on Wednesday, 23rd July 2025, by the NBA President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, and members of the Conference Planning Committee, the much-anticipated distribution phase is now fully underway.

In a major logistical milestone, branches including NBA Nyanya, Lafia, Keffi, and Bwari have taken possession of their fully-loaded conference bags.

More than just branded carriers, these bags contain a curated selection of high-quality souvenirs and essential conference materials—setting the tone for a world-class experience at Africa’s largest gathering of legal professionals.

Behind the scenes, meticulous sorting continues at the Secretariat to ensure smooth, accurate dispatch.

Nationwide distribution to all other NBA branches is scheduled to follow in the coming days, ahead of the grand event in Enugu from August 22 to 29, 2025.

Special recognition goes to Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, whose visionary leadership anchors the entire process, and to Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, Chairman of the Conference Planning Committee, whose deft coordination and eye for excellence are making this rollout seamless.

This year’s theme, “Stand Out, Stand Tall,” is more than a slogan—it’s a commitment to elevate standards, inspire innovation, and foster unity in the legal profession.
