The 56th National Conference of the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) commenced in grand style with an inspiring Opening Ceremony held at the Faculty of Law, University of Abuja.
The event brought together distinguished scholars, legal educators, and professionals from across the country, setting the tone for a week of intellectual exchange, collaboration, and reflection on the transformative role of legal education in nation-building.
Speaking on the day’s experience, Prof. Foluke Dada-Lawanson described the opening day as “a beautiful start,” highlighting the joy of reconnecting with colleagues, sharing ideas, and meeting new faces who share the same passion for teaching and learning.
“There’s something truly special about being in a space filled with people who believe in the power of education to shape lives and strengthen our society,” she noted, emphasizing that beyond the lectures and research, it is the human connections that make the academic journey meaningful.
