On Monday, May 20, 2025, Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya FCIArb, a respected legal reform advocate and visionary leader within the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Imo State, Chief C.O.C. Akaolisa, as part of her engagement ahead of the NBA Owerri Branch Law Week.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Justice in Owerri, was graced by top-ranking officials, including the Permanent Secretaries of the Ministry of Justice and the Imo State Law Reform Commission, as well as Directors, Deputy Directors, and State Counsel of various cadres.
During the visit, the Honourable Attorney General commended Mrs. Badejo-Okusanya for her exceptional dedication to the legal profession, particularly highlighting her bold leadership during her tenure as Chairperson of the NBA Annual General Conference Planning Committee (AGCPC).

He noted that under her leadership, the AGCPC successfully secured and delivered tablets approved by His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma, to judicial officers and State Counsel — a visionary initiative that will significantly enhance work efficiency within the Imo State justice sector.
Describing her as “dogged, resourceful, and solutions-driven,” the Attorney General praised her for consistently using her platforms within the NBA to pursue institutional development and meaningful impact.
In her remarks, Mrs. Badejo-Okusanya expressed deep appreciation for the Honourable Attorney General’s warm welcome and his steadfast commitment to strengthening the justice delivery system in Imo State.
She reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to sustainable legal reform, professional development, and bridging institutional gaps through collaborative action.
