According to Bridget Imuetinyanosa Iguodala, the NBAWF Edo State Lead, the hangout is more than just a social gathering; it is an intentional convergence of women of the wig and gown, blending fun, relaxation, and empowerment in one memorable experience.
“It promises to be fun-filled with fantastic networking opportunities, empowerment talks, relationship and family conversations, career insights, and lots of recreational activities,” Iguodala said. “There will also be plenty to eat and drink, and of course, a surprise guest appearance that will make the day even more remarkable.”

The event underscores the Forum’s growing presence and commitment to building strong female professional networks across Nigeria, fostering mentorship, and creating safe spaces for women in law to unwind, connect, and inspire one another.
True to Edo’s spirited reputation for excellence and hospitality, the forthcoming hangout is expected to draw an impressive turnout of vibrant, forward-thinking women lawyers from within and beyond the state, all eager to share experiences, exchange ideas, and celebrate the power of unity.
As Iguodala aptly noted, “Edo nor dey carry last.”
Indeed, history is in the making — and Benin City is ready to play host to a gathering that will set a new standard for female legal camaraderie in the Nigerian Bar Association Women’s Forum.
