Alhaji Saka Isau, SAN, was a man whose life epitomized excellence, dedication, and service. A revered Senior Advocate of Nigeria, he was deeply respected within the legal profession for his profound legal acumen, integrity, and leadership.
- Former Chairman, NBA Ilorin Branch: Alhaji Saka Isau, SAN, held the prestigious role of Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association’s Ilorin Branch, where his leadership and contributions advanced the objectives of the Bar in the state.
- Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kwara State: He served with distinction as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Kwara State, where his tenure was marked by notable achievements in law reform and governance.
- Former Secretary to the Kwara State Government: As the Secretary to the Kwara State Government, he exemplified dedication to public service and contributed significantly to the state’s administrative and policy framework.
Beyond his professional achievements, he was a mentor, role model, and guiding light to many in the legal profession and beyond. His principled approach to law, governance, and life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Family and Legacy
Alhaji Saka Isau, SAN, was not only a towering figure in his professional field but also a devoted family man. He was the father of two distinguished legal practitioners, Dr. Hammed Olatunji Isau and Abdulakeem Femi Isau, whose own contributions to the legal profession are a testament to the values he instilled in them.
Through his family, mentees, and the numerous individuals he inspired, his enduring legacy of excellence and service continues. His wisdom, humility, and compassion remain a source of inspiration to the legal community and beyond.
