Simon emphasized that the 2026 commemoration presents an opportunity for stakeholders to intensify efforts toward women’s empowerment, urging government, the private sector, civil society organizations, and individuals to support initiatives that invest in women and girls.

She noted that breaking barriers, strengthening mentorship networks, and expanding opportunities for women are critical steps toward building sustainable communities and national development.
The founder further stressed that investing in women creates a ripple effect of empowerment capable of transforming families, communities, and the nation at large.
