Esteemed National Executive, Distinguished FIDANs, and Honourable Delegates,
It is my pleasure, and indeed my honour as a fellow FIDAN, to extend warm goodwill to FIDA Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Annual General Conference themed “Bridging Gaps, Building Futures: Women’s Rights, Justice and Sustainable Development in Nigeria.”
This theme speaks to the heart of our collective mission. It reminds us that every effort we make, whether through advocacy, service, or education expands the possibility of a more just, equitable, and empowering society for women and children. As we reflect and engage, may our conversations strengthen our resolve, deepen our strategies, and inspire actions that truly bridge the gaps that persist in our justice and development systems.
I commend the leadership and every committed FIDAN whose work continues to illuminate the future we seek to build. May this Conference be impactful, unifying, and purpose-driven.
