The meetings united CSO leaders, traditional rulers, religious heads, politicians, and government officials to amplify women’s political participation — focusing on the Reserved Seats for Women Bill, which seeks 36+1 Senate seats, 74 House seats, and 108 State Assembly seats for women.
Voices from the Warizi of Sokoto to Sarkin Gagi, FOMWAN, NILOWV, women politicians, the judiciary, and the Governor’s team echoed in solidarity. A unified Memorandum was developed for the National Assembly Zonal Public Hearing.
This marks a resounding call for equitable representation.
