On the Occasion of Workers’ Day – May 1, 2025
Today, I join the rest of the nation in celebrating the industrious spirit, strength, and perseverance of Nigerian workers—especially members of the Nigerian Bar Association and the entire legal workforce who continue to uphold justice, defend the rule of law, and contribute meaningfully to the progress of our society.
“Labour is not just a means to earn; it is the heartbeat of every progressive society.”

The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognizes the tireless efforts of professionals across every sector. Your dedication fuels the economy, strengthens institutions, and inspires hope for a better Nigeria.

To my colleagues in the legal profession: your integrity, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to justice are foundational to national development. To every worker across Nigeria: your sacrifice and resilience are not unnoticed. You are the builders of our future.
As we mark this Workers’ Day, may we all renew our commitment to fairness, inclusion, innovation, and sustainable growth.
“Let us continue to build a Nigeria where hard work is rewarded, rights are respected, and justice is accessible to all.”

Happy Workers’ Day to all!
God bless the Nigerian workforce.
God bless the Nigerian Bar Association.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
