Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, is a deeply spiritual occasion that reminds us of the virtues of faith, obedience, compassion, and community. As we commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering devotion and willingness to submit to the divine will, we are reminded of the values that hold us together as a people—sacrifice, empathy, and love for one another.

On behalf of the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), I extend heartfelt Sallah greetings to all our Muslim sisters and brothers across the country and beyond, and especially to the esteemed members of our Forum. May this sacred celebration inspire in us all a renewed spirit of selflessness, unity, and service to humanity.

Let us use this moment to reflect on our individual and collective responsibilities—to our families, to our profession, and to our society. May the lessons of Eid rekindle in us the strength to lead with justice and compassion.

As we share in the joy and prayers of this holy season, I pray that:

“May Allah (SWT) accept your sacrifices, grant your prayers, bless your homes with peace, elevate your ranks, and reward your faith with abundant mercy and barakah. Ameen.”

Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones.

Chairperson, Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF)
