Court Adjourns Nnamdi Kanu’s Case Indefinitely

BREAKING: Court Adjourns Nnamdi Kanu’s Case Indefinitely Amid Criticism of Nigerian Judiciary

The Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), indefinitely. Kanu, visibly angered after Monday’s court session, strongly criticised Nigerian prosecutors and the judiciary for what he described as a poor understanding of the country’s laws.

In a statement recorded by Channels Television, Kanu declared, “The prosecution and this court don’t know the law. Poor knowledge of the law is killing Nigeria.”

Nnamdi Kanu Ordered to Appear Before Recused Justice Binta Nyako

Kanu’s legal team, led by Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, argued that Justice Binta Nyako no longer has jurisdiction over the case. Ejimakor stated that they appeared “under protest” and reiterated their stance that the trial should not continue under the current circumstances.

The indefinite adjournment adds to the ongoing legal battle surrounding Kanu’s trial, which has seen multiple delays and legal disputes.
