The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Citizens Liberties Committee (CLC), Nuhu J. Egya, Esq., on August 12, 2025, joined members of the NBA Kano Branch for their monthly meeting, a vibrant convergence of progressive legal minds committed to upholding the ideals of the Association.
The gathering, attended by distinguished practitioners with sterling records of service, deliberated on pressing branch matters, the welfare of lawyers, and the broader state of the profession.
It also featured an accredited lecture under the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) delivered by Hon. Justice Adam Abdullahi on the ethical conduct of legal practitioners.
Commending the branch’s resilience and dedication to members’ welfare, Egya reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to continuous service, describing young lawyers as the “foundation, future, and hope” of a progressive and principled Bar.

He urged them to remain steadfast, trust the process, and uphold the honour of the profession.
In recognition of International Youth Day, Egya celebrated the innovative contributions of young lawyers, calling the occasion a moment for reflection on their pivotal role in shaping the legal landscape.
The meeting underscored the NBA Kano Branch’s position as a beacon of hope for both seasoned and emerging practitioners, a sentiment the CLC Chairman warmly echoed in his felicitations.
