The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Citizens Liberties Committee (CLC), Nuhu J. Egya, Esq, on Tuesday, 12th August 2025, joined members of the NBA Kano Branch at their August meeting — a vibrant gathering of progressive bar men committed to upholding and protecting the ideals of the NBA.
The meeting, attended by seasoned legal practitioners of remarkable records, addressed pressing branch matters and the welfare of lawyers within and beyond Kano. It also featured a Continuing Legal Education lecture delivered by Hon. Justice Adam Abdullahi on the ethical conduct of legal practitioners.
In his remarks, Nuhu J. Egya commended the Kano Branch for its resilience and unwavering focus on protecting the welfare of legal practitioners. He reaffirmed his dedication to continuous service, noting that young lawyers remain the foundation, future, and hope of a progressive and honourable Bar. He urged them to stay steadfast, trust the process, and work toward strengthening the nobility of the profession.
Marking International Youth Day, he congratulated young lawyers, describing the occasion as a moment for reflection on their vital contributions to the legal profession. He also celebrated their innovative spirit, which he said is essential to the Bar’s growth and relevance.

Egya concluded with warm felicitations to the branch for sustaining its reputation as a beacon of hope for lawyers across the nation.
