The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), chaired by Chief Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, has approved the elevation of 87 lawyers to the prestigious Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) rank during its 164th Plenary. Among the newly appointed SANs are 86 advocates and one academic, Prof. Ganiu Oke Adeyemi. Notable appointees include Dr. Monday Ubani and Ayoola Olufemi Ajayi. The swearing-in is set for September 30, 2024, coinciding with the new legal year.
