The 001 Caliphate Bar has extended heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Afam Osigwe, SAN, the Chairman of the 2025 Annual General Conference Planning Committee, Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, and the entire planning team, on the resounding success of the just-concluded NBA Annual General Conference (NBA-AGC) 2025.
In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, the Bar commended the NBA leadership for its visionary planning, dedication, and hard work, which transformed the conference into a landmark achievement. The event gathered eminent legal minds, fostering deep conversations on pressing national and global legal issues while charting new directions for the profession.
The Caliphate Bar particularly expressed gratitude to President Osigwe and his team for providing a level playing ground that ensured inclusivity and representation. For the first time in the history of the NBA-AGC, a member of the Caliphate Bar led one of the opening breakout sessions.
Prof. Ibrahim Abdullahi, SAN, from the Sokoto Branch, chaired the session on Legal Ethics and Globalization, which was widely acclaimed as one of the most engaging and impactful sessions of the conference, drawing significant positive feedback.
