Dear Learned Silks, Bar Leaders, and Distinguished Colleagues,
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our esteemed colleague, Jubril Usman Akor, Esq., a dedicated member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Gwagwalada Branch. According to information provided by his son, Mr. Akor peacefully departed this world on Friday, January 17, 2025.
NBA GWAGWALADA BRANCH SECURES THE RELEASE OF 7 DETAINEES
Until his passing, Mr. Jubril Usman Akor was a retired police prosecutor with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command of the Nigerian Police. Following his retirement, he transitioned into private legal practice, where he continued to demonstrate his commitment to the rule of law and justice.
Our Prayers
We earnestly pray to Allah (SWT) to:
- Grant him Aljannah Firdaus
- Overlook his shortcomings and sins.
- Provide his family and loved ones with the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
- Comfort and strengthen the NBA Gwagwalada family during this period of mourning.
