Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has appointed renowned Nigerian singer, Innocent “2Face” Idibia, as the Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach. The announcement was made during a courtesy visit by the music icon to the Governor’s office.
Governor Alia expressed his appreciation for 2Face’s continuous support of his administration and acknowledged his potential to contribute even more meaningfully to the development of the state.
“On behalf of the Benue State government and our very good people, we want to give you some more responsibility, in addition to what you have already been doing,” the Governor stated. “You have the capacity to do more, to help us chart a way forward to improve lives and to benefit from your wisdom and advice. So I’m pleased to announce that we will make you a Technical Adviser to the Governor on Entertainment and Community Outreach.”
The appointment aims to leverage 2Face’s influence and experience in the entertainment industry, as well as his longstanding commitment to community development, to promote youth engagement and social advancement across the state.
