It is with great joy and admiration that I extend my warmest goodwill to the distinguished Chairman, Executive Committee, Planning Committee, and the entire membership of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ijebu Ode Branch, on the successful hosting of your 27th Annual Bar Week held from July 4th to 11th, 2025.
The carefully chosen theme, “Law & Governance: The Nexus,” is both timely and thought-provoking. It reflects the growing need for the legal profession to continue engaging actively in national conversations around constitutionalism, justice delivery, public accountability, and the rule of law.
Indeed, your branch has once again demonstrated commendable foresight in convening this intellectual gathering of minds dedicated to shaping the destiny of our legal system and democratic structures.
I celebrate the foresight of the Planning Committee under the capable leadership of A.D. Sosannwo, Esq., and commend the array of legal minds and guests who lent their voices to the conversations, including the Guest Speaker, Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, SAN, and respected jurists like Hon. Justice Taiwo O. Taiwo (Rtd) and Hon. Justice Mosunmola Arinola Dipeolu, FICMC, FHNR, who chaired the event with elegance and insight.

To my dear brother in the profession, Chief Prof. Fassy Adetunji O. Yusuf, Chairman of NBA Ijebu Ode Branch, I salute your relentless commitment to the growth of the Bar and the advancement of legal knowledge. Your leadership continues to inspire excellence and ethical stewardship.
The 27th Annual Bar Week has not only deepened professional learning but has equally strengthened bonds of collegiality and service. You have shown that the Bar, at its best, is both a conscience of the nation and a catalyst for reform.
May the Ijebu Ode Branch of the NBA continue to thrive in wisdom, strength, and unity. I wish you many more successful and impactful Bar Weeks in the years ahead.
Long Live the Nigerian Bar Association!
Long Live NBA Ijebu Ode Branch!

Yours fraternally,
Barth Okoye Aniche, Esq.
