Barth Okoye Aniche Congratulates Newly Conferred Senior Advocates of Nigeria

The immediate past Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Eastern Bar Forum, Barth Okoye Aniche, has joined the nation’s legal community in celebrating the swearing-in of the latest crop of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs).

In his congratulatory message, Aniche described the conferment as “a well-deserved honour that reflects years of resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the noble ideals of the legal profession.”

He noted that the elevation of the new Silks represents not only a personal triumph for the recipients but also a source of pride for the entire Bar and a reminder that diligence and excellence in advocacy remain the hallmarks of the profession.

Aniche further highlighted the significance of the SAN rank as one of the highest honours attainable in Nigeria’s legal space, symbolizing distinction, integrity, and exceptional contribution to the development of law.

While celebrating the newly sworn-in Silks, he offered a prayerful wish: “May the Almighty grant them wisdom, strength, and good health to continue to make meaningful contributions to the growth of jurisprudence and the advancement of justice in our country.”

The conferment of the SAN rank, overseen by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), remains one of the most prestigious milestones in the career of any legal practitioner in Nigeria.
