“Dear wigs, today you carry more than the wig and gown you carry the hopes of society, the mandate of justice, and the trust of the voiceless. Always remember that integrity must be your strongest ally, and excellence your daily pursuit,” Aniche stated.
He urged them to embrace humility while navigating the profession, to find purpose in service beyond personal gain, and to build bridges of mentorship and friendship that strengthen the Bar.
“This noble journey you have begun is not only about courtrooms and citations. It is about lives, fairness, and the pursuit of a society where justice thrives. Walk this path with courage, let your light shine, and let your names be written in legacies of honor.”
Barth Okoye Aniche concluded his message with prayers for a purposeful career for the new wigs, wishing them wisdom, strength, and the grace to make a meaningful impact.
