Badejo-Okusanya Commends NBA Sokoto Branch on Elders’ Hangout Initiative

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, FCIArb, has applauded the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto Branch (Caliphate Bar), for hosting its inaugural Elders’ Hangout, describing the initiative as a timely and thoughtful step toward strengthening the legal profession.

In a goodwill message issued to the Branch, Badejo-Okusanya congratulated the Chair, Executive Committee, and members of the Caliphate Bar for what she termed a programme that reflects purposeful leadership and deep respect for the foundations of the profession.

She noted that the Elders’ Hangout underscores the importance of experience, continuity, and professional relationships, while creating an enabling space for meaningful interaction across generations of legal practitioners.

The senior lawyer specifically commended the Chair of the Branch, Rashidat Mohammed, Esq., for her leadership and vision in initiating the programme, stating that it demonstrates a clear commitment to fostering cohesion and strengthening the professional community.

Mrs. Badejo-Okusanya, a Partner at ALP NG & Co., expressed pride in contributing to the laudable initiative and wished the Caliphate Bar a successful and memorable outing, expressing hope that the programme would set a commendable precedent for other branches of the Association.
