Alleged Killer of Lagos Interior Decorator, Deborah Moses, Remanded in Kirikiri Prison

The tragic murder of 26-year-old interior decorator, Deborah Moses, has taken a legal turn as her alleged killer, Lintex Ogale, was on Wednesday remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre following his arraignment before the Yaba Magistrate Court in Lagos State.

Ogale, a native of Otukpo in Benue State, was arraigned around 10am over the fatal stabbing of Moses in her Lagos apartment earlier this month. After reviewing the case file, the presiding magistrate ordered his remand pending further proceedings, with the matter adjourned to a date yet to be announced.

Moses, popularly known as Deb’rah Porsche, was reportedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend months after their relationship ended. Investigations revealed that Ogale gained entry into her residence by deceiving estate security while disguised as a dispatch rider

. When challenged, he allegedly scaled the fence, attempted to sabotage the cooking gas pipe outside the apartment, and eventually broke into the victim’s home.

Neighbours recounted how the suspect confronted Moses and stabbed her multiple times, killing her instantly. He was restrained by residents and handed over to the police.

Family members disclosed that Deborah had ended the relationship more than a year ago, but Ogale allegedly continued to harass her with threats. “He kept saying, ‘If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I don’t marry you, blood will flow,’” her sister revealed.

The victim, who recently completed her NYSC, was focusing on her career as an interior decorator before her life was cut short.
