Felicitations!
As we join the Nigerian Bar Association, Aba Branch, under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Charles Onuchukwu, Esq., in celebrating this year’s Law Week and Eminent Persons’ Lecture, we do so with deep joy and heartfelt gratitude—because this moment also marks a deeply personal celebration for us:
Our 13th Year Marriage Anniversary – 24th June 2025
Our journey together has been defined not by perfection, but by partnership. In love and in life, we have stood shoulder to shoulder—navigating triumphs, weathering storms, and raising a family we are immensely proud of: Busi, Chiazalam, and Chiziterem.

To my dearest Ijeoma,
“You are not my missing piece, but my favourite one.”
That, to me, is the essence of our union—one that doesn’t complete, but complements; one that doesn’t consume, but cultivates.
Your quiet strength has always been my anchor. And every day I wake up grateful, knowing that ‘forever with you doesn’t feel like long enough.’
Thank you for all the ways you make me feel loved and for building a home filled with joy, faith, and fierce love.
As we reflect on this year’s Law Week theme:
“The Strength of the Judiciary, People’s Confidence: Glory Foretold or Disaster Waiting to Happen,”
we are reminded of the deeper truth that true strength—be it in institutions or in marriages—is built on trust, integrity, and commitment.
We urge all NBA members to engage actively and meaningfully in the conversations ahead, while we, in our own celebration, raise a glass to 13 years of a marriage grounded in God, grace, and growth.

A Toast to Love, Family & Forever
“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.”
“Family is the anchor during rough waters—and the celebration when the sun shines.”
“Marriage is not about perfection, but about persistence—with love as your compass and faith as your map.”
Here’s to many more years of laughter, strength, deep companionship, and divine health.
May our love story continue to inspire, our family continue to flourish, and our bond remain ever strong.
With all our hearts,
~ Nelson & Ijeoma Okereke
