President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has felicitated with renowned legal practitioner and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Babatunde Kwame Ogala, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, describing him as a patriotic Nigerian whose life has been marked by professionalism, integrity, loyalty and selfless service.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Ogala’s immense contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development and the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The President recalled Ogala’s distinguished service as the APC’s Head of Legal, Vice Chairman of the Legal Directorate of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, and Coordinator of the legal team that successfully defended the party’s 2023 presidential victory from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal through to the Supreme Court.
President Tinubu noted that Ogala’s exceptional legal expertise, strategic counsel and steadfast commitment to justice played a pivotal role in strengthening the legal foundation of the APC’s electoral success while reinforcing the integrity of Nigeria’s democratic process.

He further described the senior lawyer’s achievements at the Bar and within the APC as a source of inspiration to younger generations of legal practitioners and political leaders.
The President also commended Ogala’s stewardship as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Lagos State University, applauding his efforts in promoting academic excellence, sound governance and institutional development.
Congratulating the celebrant on the milestone, President Tinubu prayed for God’s continued wisdom, good health and many more years of impactful service in the pursuit of justice and good governance.
