In commemoration of the International Day of Education, celebrated on January 24, 2026, with the theme “The Power of Youth in Co-Creating Education”, FIDA Edo enthusiastically honoured the children of Edo State, recognising the pivotal role young people play in shaping their own educational journeys and futures.
Following the celebrations, the FIDA Edo Associates of the University of Benin took proactive steps to spread joy and inspiration to the children at the IDP Camp on Ukhun Road, Ovia North East Local Government Area, on January 27, 2026. This outreach was a testament to FIDA Edo’s commitment to supporting education and uplifting young minds.
Furthermore, on January 30, 2026, the FIDA Edo mother branch extended their efforts to Olua Primary School in Egor Local Government Area, Benin City, engaging with the students and reinforcing the importance of education in building a brighter tomorrow.
FIDA Edo remains steadfast in its mission to promote, protect, and preserve the rights of women and children across Edo State.
