The Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP) has joined the global observance of Quality Service Week 2025, reflecting on the true essence of quality within the administration of justice and the legal profession.
In a statement released by the Section, the NBA-SLP emphasized that quality justice remains the highest form of quality service — one built on integrity, diligence, and an unwavering commitment to fairness and the rule of law.
The Section noted that this year’s observance provides an opportunity for legal practitioners across Nigeria to recommit to the principles that define the profession: ethical conduct, professional excellence, and service to humanity.
“At the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Legal Practice, we believe that quality justice is not just a professional duty, but a moral obligation. It is what elevates the dignity of our courts, strengthens public confidence, and upholds the rule of law,” the statement read.
As part of its reflection, the NBA-SLP also paid tribute to departed legal luminaries—men and women whose courage, intellect, and sense of justice continue to illuminate the path of the Nigerian legal community. Their legacies, the Section said, serve as a powerful reminder that the pursuit of justice transcends profession—it is a lifelong calling.

Reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the standards of legal practice in Nigeria, the NBA-SLP encouraged all members of the Bar to uphold the quality of justice in every brief, courtroom appearance, and cause they undertake.
“Quality of Service. Quality of Justice.”
