The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), FCT Chapter, has congratulated Pastor Ruth Zikachat Kaburuk-Badung on her retirement from the Civil Service, describing her career as a shining testament to resilience, courage, and excellence.
In a letter jointly signed by Hadiza Afegbua, Esq., State Lead of the NBAWF FCT Branch, and Rahila Dauda, Facilitator of the Abuja Branch, the Forum extolled Pastor Kaburuk-Badung’s professional achievements and enduring impact within public service and beyond.
The Forum noted that she distinguished herself not only as a consummate professional but also as a role model embodying leadership, mentorship, and advocacy for women in law and society.

“As an Amazon and a great woman leader within the NBAWF Abuja family, you have blazed the trail, broken barriers, and opened doors for younger women to thrive. Your contributions have enriched our Forum, strengthened our collective voice, and advanced the cause of women in the legal profession,” the letter read.
The NBAWF praised her retirement as not an end, but the beginning of a new season of deeper influence, fulfillment, and opportunities. It prayed for her continued good health, long life, and the joy of witnessing generations flourish from the seeds she has sown.
“Please accept the assurances of our warmest regards and the love of your NBAWF family. We celebrate you with pride and pray that your days ahead be more glorious than the years past,” the statement added.
Pastor Kaburuk-Badung was celebrated for her legacy of service, which remains an enduring inspiration to women in the legal profession and society at large.
