NBA-YLF FCT Branches Commended for Successful Picnic

Abuja, Nigeria – Past 3rd Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and former Publicity Secretary of the Eastern Bar Forum, Barth Okoye Aniche, Esq., has congratulated the NBA Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) of the FCT branches for the resounding success of their recently held picnic.

The commendation was directed to the YLFs of Gwagwalada, Garki, Bwari, Nyanya, and Abuja branches, as well as their respective forums.

According to Aniche, the picnic went beyond mere leisure, serving as a platform for bonding, relaxation, and strengthening fraternity among young lawyers. He emphasized that in a demanding profession such as law, such activities provide a healthy balance between work and wellness, while fostering camaraderie and unity.

“It was truly heartwarming to see that the objectives of the picnic  fellowship, networking, and rejuvenation were fully achieved,” he stated.

Aniche also revealed that his interactions with officials of the different branches, both before and during the event, showcased their commitment to the welfare, development, and solidarity of young lawyers.

Encouraging new entrants into the profession, he urged fresh wigs to embrace the YLFs in their chosen branches, describing the forum as a nursery for leadership, mentorship, and professional growth.

“By engaging actively, you will find guidance, support, and opportunities that will shape your practice and enrich your journey at the Bar,” he advised.

Reiterating his passion for mentoring, Aniche pledged to continue investing in the growth of young lawyers, stressing that the future strength of the Bar lies in their hands.

He congratulated the FCT branches once again, expressing hope that the picnic would remain a reminder that pursuit of excellence in law must go hand in hand with nurturing unity, wellness, and friendship.
