Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) Announces 56th National Conference in Abuja

The Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT), in collaboration with the Faculty of Law, University of Abuja, has announced the 56th National Conference, scheduled to hold from Sunday, 26th October to Thursday, 30th October 2025, at the University’s main campus on Airport Road, Abuja.

With the captivating tagline “One Like No Other”, this year’s conference promises to be an extraordinary gathering of legal minds, academics, and policy influencers across Nigeria and beyond.

The theme for the 2025 conference, “Law, National Development and Economic Sustainability in a Globalized World,” underscores the urgent need for the legal profession to play a central role in addressing Nigeria’s developmental challenges while positioning the country in the global economy.

Conference Registration Fees

NALT has released a structured fee schedule to encourage early participation:

  • Members:
    • Early Bird (till 31st August 2025): ₦30,000 (with unique conference souvenir for the first 100 registrants).
    • Regular (1st Sept – 15th Oct 2025): ₦35,000.
    • Late (15th Oct onwards): ₦35,000 (conference materials not guaranteed).
  • Non-members: ₦100,000.
  • International Participants: US$250.
  • Online Participants: ₦20,000 / US$25.

Annual Subscription Fees for 2025

  • Institutional: ₦50,000.
  • Individual Categories:
    • Readers and Professors – ₦30,000.
    • Senior Lecturers – ₦25,000.
    • Lecturers I and below – ₦20,000.

(Note: Payment of individual subscriptions and registration fees are contingent upon institutional subscription.)
