The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), under the leadership of its President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has announced the forthcoming North-Central Security Summit 2025 in partnership with the Benue State Government.
Scheduled to take place from 27th to 29th July 2025 in Makurdi, Benue State, the summit will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both physical and virtual participation.
With the theme: “Strengthening Security, Rule of Law, and Justice Delivery in North-Central Nigeria,” the three-day event is poised to address urgent security challenges in the region.

It will bring together leading legal minds, policymakers, security experts, academics, and stakeholders across the North-Central zone to explore practical and innovative approaches to improving justice delivery and upholding the rule of law.
The Executive Governor of Benue State, Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, will host the summit, which promises to be a crucial platform for strategic dialogue, regional collaboration, and policy action.
Participants will earn 2 CPD points, contributing to their Continuing Professional Development requirements.
