Caliphate Bar Ascends: NBA Sokoto Secures CLE Accreditation Under Visionary Leadership

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Sokoto Branch is proud to announce that it has officially secured accreditation as a Service Provider with the Nigerian Bar Association – Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA-ICLE).

This milestone achievement marks a significant step in our Branch’s ongoing commitment to the professional development of its members.

With this accreditation, NBA Sokoto is now empowered to organize and conduct accredited Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs, trainings, workshops, and seminars for lawyers within and beyond the Branch.

These programmes will contribute to enhancing the knowledge, skills, and professional competence of legal practitioners in line with global best practices and the standards set by the NBA.

Speaking on the development, the Chairman of NBA Sokoto Branch, *Rashidat Muhammed, Esq., described the accreditation as a landmark achievement for the Caliphate Bar.

She noted that it will position the Branch as a key player in legal education and capacity-building efforts across the country. “We are proud of this accomplishment.

It is a testament to the quality, vision and commitment of the leadership and members of the Branch.

With this status, we aim to roll out regular CLE programmes that will equip our members with practical legal tools and contemporary knowledge necessary for excellence in legal practice.” she stated.

The Branch expresses profound appreciation to the leadership of the NBA-ICLE under *Sarah Omega Ajijola, Esq, as well as the National Executive Committee of the NBA led by Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, for their confidence in NBA Sokoto Branch capacity to deliver on this mandate.

This accreditation further underscores NBA Sokoto’s Branch dedication to advancing legal education, professional ethics and overall excellence in the legal profession.

The Branch will soon unveil a calendar of its upcoming CLE activities, with opportunities for physical and virtual participation.
