The NBA Women Forum, FCT Branch, extends its deepest sympathies to our beloved Chairperson, Hajia Huwaila I. Muhammad, Esq., on the passing of her revered grandfather, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who departed this life on June 28th, 2025, in Dubai.
This period has been especially difficult for our dear Chairperson, having also recently endured the loss of her younger brother. We acknowledge the depth of sorrow and emotional weight this double loss brings, and we unite as a community to uphold her and her family in prayers.
“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.” – Qur’an 2:156
Alhaji Aminu Dantata was a towering figure—not only within his family but across Nigeria—as a statesman, philanthropist, and noble soul whose legacy of humility, service, and unwavering faith left an indelible mark on generations. His contributions to humanity and the Muslim Ummah will never be forgotten.
We beseech Almighty Allah (SWT) to Forgive his shortcomings,Expand and illuminate his grave, Shower him with mercy and Admit him into Al-Jannah al-Firdaus

May Allah also grant our Chairperson and her family the strength, ṣabr (patience), and comfort to bear this heavy loss. We share in your grief and reaffirm our unwavering support during this trying time.
“Grief is not a weakness; it is a mark of love deeply felt. And even in the storm, faith is our anchor.”
With sincere prayers and deepest sympathy,
