In a heartfelt farewell address, Paul Babatunde Daudu, SAN, expressed his gratitude and pride as he concluded his tenure as the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Bwari Branch.
Speaking to an assembly of members, Daudu conveyed a mixed sense of emotions—gratitude, joy, and accomplishment—for the support he received during his time in office.
Daudu began by appreciating the unwavering support from Bwari Branch members, acknowledging their enthusiasm and contributions that have played a pivotal role in the success of his administration.
“Your participation has been invaluable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have served alongside such a talented and dedicated group of lawyers,” he stated.
He also extended his deepest thanks to his fellow executives, recognizing their hard work and commitment that propelled the branch’s objectives forward. “I am honored to have served alongside each of you,” he expressed.
In a moment of spiritual reflection, Daudu thanked the Almighty God for guiding the Bwari Branch through a peaceful and transparent election process.
He described the conduct of the election as a testament to the maturity and decorum of the Branch and prayed for God’s continued blessings in their endeavors.
Daudu congratulated Elder Ifeanyi Nwude on his election as the new Chairman, expressing confidence in Nwude’s ability to lead the Branch to even greater heights.
He pledged the support of his administration to ensure a seamless transition and continuity of the Branch’s activities.
In his charge to the newly elected executive committee, Daudu urged them to surpass the achievements of the outgoing administration, emphasizing the importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
He called for a commitment to fostering unity among members and promoting the welfare and interests of the Branch.
As he officially handed over leadership, Daudu reflected on the accomplishments they achieved together and expressed optimism for the future of the Branch.
