TaxADR Roundtable 2025 Set to Spotlight ADR in Tax Reforms

The much-anticipated TaxADR Roundtable 2025 is scheduled to hold from 25–26 June 2025 at the prestigious Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, as well as virtually, bringing together tax professionals, lawyers, and policymakers to explore alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in tax administration and reforms.

The two-day hybrid event opens with a Public Lecture (Free Entry) on Wednesday, 25 June 2025 at 10:00 AM WAT. The lecture will feature two keynote addresses:

  • Anita Erinne, Coordinating Secretary of the Tax Appeal Tribunal, will speak on “The New Tax Reforms and the Role of ADR.”
  • Fiona McRoberts, Head of ADR at HMRC (UK), will deliver a presentation titled “A Decade of ADR in HMRC: A Collaborative Approach to Dispute Resolution.”

The lecture will be hosted by Prince Lateef O. Fagbemi SAN, the Honourable Attorney General and Minister of Justice, with Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, Honourable Minister of Finance, as Special Guest of Honour. Dr. Zacch Adedeji, Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), will serve as Event Chair.

The second day, Thursday, 26 June, features a CPD-accredited Technical Workshop from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tailored for tax officials, legal practitioners, and policy stakeholders, the workshop attracts a participation fee of ₦100,000 (in-person) and ₦50,000 (virtual).
