Today, we not only mark Democracy day, we remember and honour all Nigeria’s fallen democratic patriots who laid down their lives in pursuit of true democracy for our dear nation, *even as we graple with hope to see yet a better and truly democratic Nigeria!
As lawyers, we are once again reminded of our obligatory duties as guardians of justice and critical stakeholders to nation-building, to do more towards strengthening our fledgling democracy.
