The Nigerian Bar Association Gwagwalada Branch through its Medical and Health Law Committee is organizing a knowledge sharing webinar in commemoration of Mental Health Awareness Month with theme ‘Advocating for specialized ethical standard in Nigeria Medical Practice’.
The Chairman of the committee, Dr F. O Agbo stated that thought provoking topics that will be part of discussion are patient rights and safety, Gunshot Victims Act, Consent
Confidentiality and Medical Negligence among others.
Dr Agbo further noted that, ‘the benefits of the webinar include gaining knowledge about some specific areas relating to mental health in Nigeria.
He promised that the webinar poses a great benefit to those who may attend it.
