I extend my warmest congratulations to the distinguished leadership and members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Eti-Osa Branch — fondly known as The Coastline Bar — on the successful hosting of your inaugural Law Week.
This milestone is more than a ceremonial event; it is a strong testament to the branch’s emergence as a thought leader in redefining the Nigerian legal landscape. The theme, “Bridging Tradition and Innovation in Law: Advancing Rights, Ethics, and Technology,” resonates deeply with the core challenges and opportunities facing our profession today.
WELCOME MESSAGE FROM NBAWF FCT-ABUJA STATE LEAD
As a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, I have had the privilege of watching the Bar evolve over the years — from a profession steeped in tradition to one increasingly tasked with responding to the realities of technology, entrepreneurship, and rapidly changing legal norms. The Coastline Bar has shown rare foresight in choosing to lead this vital conversation through your Law Week.
I salute the efforts of the Law Week Planning Committee, the Branch Chairman, and all who contributed to this impressive execution. From the opening prayers to the closing award night, this Law Week was clearly crafted not just for show but for substance.

May this be the beginning of many more pioneering initiatives from the Eti-Osa Branch that will shape the legal profession for the better — both in Lagos State and across Nigeria.
As delegates journey back to their homes and offices, I pray for safe travels, divine protection, and renewed energy to implement the knowledge acquired over the week.
Once again, congratulations.
Long live the Nigerian Bar Association. Long live the Coastline Bar.
Sincerely,
Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN
