The meeting, led by the FRSC’s Corps Legal Adviser (CLA), ACM KD Gonji, mni, centered on fostering collaboration between the two institutions on issues such as the annual renewal of the Proof of Ownership Certificate (POC), amendments to the FRSC Act of 2007, and other mutual interests.
The Role of the FRSC
As the apex body responsible for ensuring safety on Nigerian roads, the FRSC plays a critical role in vehicle registration, road safety education, and policy enforcement. In this meeting, the Corps emphasized its commitment to maintaining an up-to-date database of vehicles and owners for enhanced security and accurate data management.
