The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Citizens Liberties Committee, Nuhu J. Egya, Esq., has lauded the leadership of the NBA Dutse Branch for the successful hosting of its Law Week, describing the event as a platform for deep reflection and forward planning within the legal profession.

The Law Week, themed “Duty to Court and Ethical Advocacy,” was hailed by Egya as a strategic and thought-provoking topic that reinforces the core values of the legal practice.

He commended the session’s moderator, Hon. Justice Ali Abubakar Gumel, JCA, Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal, Maiduguri, for skillfully steering discussions that addressed critical issues with depth and clarity.

Egya, who attended the event, also shared his admiration for the peaceful and serene environment of Jigawa State, noting its natural attractions and calm atmosphere a stark contrast to common perceptions of insecurity in Northern Nigeria.

He concluded by congratulating the Dutse Branch on the feat and wished its members safe travels to the 2025 NBA Annual General Conference in Enugu State.
