The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) Imo State Chapter paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Imo State at his office today. The visit aimed to familiarize the forum with the Attorney General and formally introduce him to the existence and mission of NBAWF in the state.

During the visit, the State Lead of NBAWF commended the Attorney General for his commitment to justice despite the numerous challenges his office faces, including a high volume of cases, inadequate funding, and poor remuneration of law officers. She acknowledged his resilience and dedication in ensuring that justice prevails in the state.
She further emphasized the importance of NBAWF in advocating for female lawyers and urged the Attorney General, as the leader of the Bar in the state, to extend his support to the forum. In response, the Attorney General expressed his willingness to fully support NBAWF and its objectives.
Among those present at the courtesy visit were Mrs. E. C. Aguta and other distinguished members of NBAWF Imo State. The forum looks forward to fostering a strong working relationship with the Attorney General’s office to advance the interests of female lawyers and the legal profession in Imo State.
