The Third Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mrs. Zainab Aminu Garba, has expressed deep sympathy to the NBA Jos Branch following the road accident involving members of the Branch’s male football team while travelling to Port Harcourt.
In a condolence message, Mrs. Garba described the incident as deeply distressing, stating that she received the news with a heavy heart.
She commiserated with the Chairman, Executive Committee and the entire membership of the NBA Jos Branch over the unfortunate incident.
While expressing sadness over the injuries sustained by some of the players, including reported fractures, the NBA Third Vice President thanked God that no lives were lost in the accident.
She said her thoughts and prayers remain with the injured players and their families during the difficult period.
Mrs. Garba prayed for the speedy and complete recovery of those receiving treatment, asking God to grant them healing, strength and comfort.
She also prayed for divine protection over members of the Association and against any further tragedy.
The road accident involved members of the NBA Jos Branch Male Football Team, who were travelling to Port Harcourt for the Association’s sporting activities.
