The Keffi branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) held its monthly Congress meeting on March 12, 2026, at the High Court of Justice 1, Mararaba, Karu Local Government Council, Nasarawa State.
The meeting, overseen by 3rd Vice President Zainab Aminu Garba, saw the constitution of a 5-member electoral committee to conduct the branch’s next election.
The committee members are Gabriel Nwoma, Tochukwu Ozioko Michael, Ogana Eteya, Lukman Musa, and Miss Gwahemba, who were sworn in by Uche Okonkwo, Notary Public.
The meeting Lecture titled DECODING THE LEGAL PRACTITIONERS’ REMUNERATION ORDER 2023: HOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE ORDER CAN ENRICH THE NIGERIAN LAWYER was delivered by Chibueze Maduka Esq.
The branch Chairman, Haruna Favour Esq. also revealed the theme for the branch’s Law Week, scheduled for April 2026. 3rd Vice President Zainab Aminu Garba commended the members for their orderly conduct and expressed satisfaction with the branch’s peaceful state.
