The Treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Warri Branch, Precious Ovuede-Pela, has extended a heartfelt goodwill message to the NBA Asaba Branch on the occasion of its 2025 Law Week, themed “Strategic Lawyering: The Business Behind the Brief.”
In her message, Ovuede-Pela congratulated the Asaba Branch leadership and the Law Week Planning Committee for organizing what she described as a “visionary and timely” event that reflects the realities of contemporary legal practice.
She commended the chosen theme, noting that it highlights the need for lawyers to balance legal expertise with business intelligence. “This theme is both timely and visionary, as it underscores the evolving realities of modern legal practice—where competence, innovation, and business acumen must align to ensure professional excellence and sustainability,” she stated.
Ovuede-Pela further applauded the Asaba Branch for its continued commitment to fostering professional growth and intellectual engagement within the Bar. She expressed optimism that the Law Week would inspire fresh insights and strengthen collaboration among legal practitioners.
