As part of its commitment to mentoring and professional development, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Umuahia Branch hosted Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN at its July Monthly General Meeting — a session that proved both inspiring and impactful for members, particularly young lawyers.

Chief Ozoani, SAN, a respected figure at the Inner Bar with decades of courtroom experience and a solid record of contributions to legal scholarship and advocacy, used the platform to engage directly with newly inducted lawyers.

In his remarks, he underscored the importance of discipline, diligence, and proper mentoring during the early stages of practice.

He encouraged the new wigs to remain grounded in the ethics of the profession and to embrace continuous learning as a foundation for excellence at the Bar.

In recognition of his enduring contributions to legal practice and his exemplary leadership, the NBA Umuahia Branch conferred on Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN the title of Honorary Member of the Branch.

The highlight of the evening came as the Senior Advocate generously donated the sum of ₦4 million to support the enrollment of 100 lawyers under the NBA National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), a gesture that further reflects his commitment to the welfare and well-being of legal practitioners.

The meeting provided a relaxed yet purposeful atmosphere, allowing members to connect informally with the guest, exchange perspectives, and reflect on the values that bind the legal profession.
