Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, the immediate past president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), has conveyed his warm felicitations to Muslim members of the legal community as they celebrate this special day of religious and cultural significance.
In a message released today, Maikyau praised the dedication and commitment of Muslim colleagues at the Bar, recognizing their contribution to the growth of the legal profession in Nigeria.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, let us reflect on the values of unity, brotherhood, and peace that form the foundation of this occasion,” Maikyau remarked.
He emphasized the importance of togetherness, mutual respect, and understanding among members of the legal profession, irrespective of religious or cultural backgrounds. Maikyau urged everyone to use the festive season as an opportunity to deepen their commitment to justice, fairness, and equity in their work and personal lives.
