Ahadu, along with her accomplice, Ahmed Husaini, a motorcyclist, was detained on December 28 in the Badarawa area of Shinkafi Local Government Area (LGA), Zamfara State. They were found in possession of 764 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and six magazines intended for delivery to Bello Turji’s camp.

The military disclosed that the operation followed an intelligence report on the movement of terrorist logistics between Kware and Badarawa communities. Acting swiftly, troops established a roadblock, leading to the successful interception of the suspects.

“Both suspects are currently undergoing investigation by appropriate authorities,” the statement noted, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and curbing the illegal arms trade in the region.

The military also called on the public to continue providing credible information to aid the arrest of wanted terrorists and their collaborators.

This operation underscores the Nigerian military’s dedication to securing Zamfara State and its environs, ensuring that terrorist logistics and arms movements are halted to protect lives and property.
