The event was a significant milestone, underscoring the Forum’s commitment to strengthening its structure and delivering on its mandate to advance the rights and welfare of lawyers with disabilities across Nigeria. Under the leadership of the Chairperson, Patience N. Etumudon Ms, the retreat brought together members of the Governing Council for deep deliberations, brainstorming, and planning.

In her opening remarks, the Chairperson welcomed the Council members and expressed her appreciation to Learned Silk, Akajiugo Emeka Obegolu SAN, Oyetola Muyiwa Atoyebi SAN and Hadiza Afegbue, the Lead for NBA Women Forum in the FCT for their financial support towards the Retreat.
