NBA Women Forum FCT to Host Webinar on Combating Technology-Facilitated Violence Against Women and Girls

The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), FCT Chapter, is set to host a pivotal webinar on the rising threat of Technology-Facilitated Violence Against Women and Girls, bringing together leading female voices to address the urgent need for safer digital spaces.

Scheduled for 29 November 2025 at 3pm, the session will examine the expanding landscape of online abuse and highlight the critical role female lawyers play in combating digital violence and protecting vulnerable groups.

The webinar, themed “Technology-Facilitated Violence Against Women and Girls: The Role of Female Lawyers in Combating the Scourge,” will feature seasoned experts as conversation leaders:

Kate Okoh-Kpina, Legal Expert in Gender, Diversity, Equity & Social Inclusion, German Development Cooperation (GIZ).

Rukkayat Cynthia Emmanuel, Chairperson, African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), Abuja Branch.
