I am delighted to announce my participation in the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference 2025, which convenes in the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada from 2–7 November 2025.
Under the theme “Stand Out, Stand Tall”, this global gathering of legal professionals offers a unique forum for advocacy, innovation and collaboration across jurisdictions.
As I engage with distinguished colleagues from all corners of the world, I bring to this gathering the perspective and voice of the Nigerian legal community, with a clear focus on raising our collective standards, reinforcing our ethics, and amplifying the impact of every individual lawyer.
My agenda at the conference includes:
Active participation in plenary and breakout sessions focused on access to justice, rule of law and cross-border legal practice;
Networking with international peers to forge strategic alliances and explore new opportunities for Nigerian legal practitioners operating globally.
Sharing insights from our legal environment in Nigeria and Africa, highlighting how our challenges and successes can contribute meaningfully to the global discourse.
Returning home with renewed resolve and fresh ideas to support the advancement of the profession, and to inspire fellow legal practitioners to stand out and stand tall in their service of justice.
I am committed to sharing key insights and translating global best practices into meaningful progress within our local legal community.
